What is Access to Work?
Access to Work provides practical and financial support for individuals who have a disability or health condition that affects their ability to work. This includes mental health difficulties and diagnoses (or traits) of ADHD, autism, dyslexia and dyspraxia. If you are starting a new job, returning to work, or need additional support in your current role, then Access to Work is designed to help people stay in employment. I have experience in delivering bespoke coaching and therapeutic support under Access to Work.
What is Access to Work support?
If you qualify for Access to Work, you can receive assistance tailored to your needs. Once your application is approved then an advisor will assess your situation and recommend the best support to scaffold you at work.
The process typically follows these steps:
Application: You apply for Access to Work online or over the phone. This involves providing details about your condition, job, and the specific difficulties you face in the workplace. The application takes 20 minutes and is very straightforward.
Assessment: Once accepted, an advisor will work with you to understand your needs and recommend the right support solutions.
Approval: The agreed support is then funded either directly by Access to Work or in partnership with your employer.
Implementation: You can then choose your provider to deliver the coaching or therapy support.
Choose your own Provider
Access to Work gives you the flexibility to choose your own support provider. I can help by providing:

Mental health support for those experiencing stress, anxiety, or depression, we can have one-to-one sessions to build resilience and develop practical skills.
It isn’t necessary to have a formal diagnosis to apply to Access to Work, people can apply for the scheme without a diagnosis.
